Das Handson von Windows Central zeigt mutmaßlich v.A. OLED. Es ist glare, scheint aber irgendeine Beschichtung zu haben, die die übelsten Spiegelungen zumindest etwas abmildert, aber wie genau müssen Tests mit sorgfältigeren Bildern zeigen.

Which means, that Microsoft does not expect to outrage anyone with such pricetag. They simply expect that sticking some fake "A.I." branding to every possible product would compel people to pay 10x the price they are worth.

Think qualcomm will regret their tactic of launching these products at parity prices with established players...
battery life is an important metric, sure, but performance and software compatibility is also and x86 laptops aren't that bad in battery life anymore, so i am not sure qualcomm will be successful.
they should have undercut amd/intel in prices first, to get traction given they don't have such a good performance

Cheaper than Apple. You can still buy a good and cheaper alternative though. Or use your existing BT keyboard without Copi(um)lot key.

Effizienz ist in der Tat enorm wichtig. Diese CPUs werden in mobilen Geräten zum Einsatz kommen und man muss hier zwangsweise Kompromisse eingehen, ob man will oder nicht. Niemand will 2-3 kg rumschleppen für die Leistung die man auch für 1 kg bekommen kann. Gewicht ist wirklich nicht zu unterschätzen und es zählt jedes Gramm. Wir merken ja selbst 20 g bei einem Smartphone sehr deutlich.

Wie beim Auto, anstatt mehr Akku einzubauen könnte man einfach die Aerodynamik optimieren. Deswegen versteh ich Roberts Kommentar rein von der Logik nicht. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass "mehr Akku" die Lösung aller Probleme ist. Das ist eine halbgare schnelle Lösung - sie löst das Problem, schafft aber ein Neues. Es ist keine durchdachte, intelligente und langfristige Lösung welche keine negativen Folgen mit sich bringt (mehr Gewicht = beim Auto zumindest ineffizient).

Und zum Artikel: Liest denn niemand das Kleingedruckte? Der Sheet mit den Effizienzvergleichen ist lächerlich. Die "Source" ist Intel selbst und "performance estimated". Die schätzen! Das ist nicht objektiv.
Und dann "based on internal measurements and estimates", klingt das nicht lächerlich? Dazu der Error Margin von +/- 10%. Ich mein eine CPU ist exakt X schnell bei einer Aufgabe, was gibt es da für Spielraum?
Das ist bewusst wage gehalten und der Sprung wird definitiv nicht so hoch sein. Reines Marketinggeschwafel ohne fassbaren Wert.
