The brand-new Oppo Pad 5 wants to convince shoppers with a strong price-performance ratio, as Oppo offers a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a 144Hz 3K display and a 10,420mAh battery for prices starting at the equivalent of $365.

The same processor as Samsung in the Galaxy Tab S11, but with the difference that Samsung offers 7 years of updates and Oppo only offers 3-4 updates, something that is vitally important for users to continue taking advantage of the new artificial intelligence innovations that are emerging in Android.
I think there should be a law requiring all tablets to confirm at least 7 operating system updates.

I would only buy a new tablet if it has the new Android 16's desktop mode and can run Linux apps in the new terminal. Otherwise the iPad Mini A17Pro and the Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3 are enough for me

But for the price of the same Samsung Tab, you can buy at least two of these tablets. This means that in 3 to 3.5 years, you will have a more updated (hardware-wise) gadget than the one from Samsung for approximately the same amount.
