And AMD doesn't need to ditch TSMC (who has the only legitimately completive silicon on Earth atm). They need to keep the strategy both them and now Intel have adopted where the latest chips are only used for high end parts, while last-gen chips on an older node fill in the entry to mid-range.

The era when new generations of chips went all the way from enthusiast flagships down to entry level budget parts is officially over, and it's never coming back. 🤷

Like really ? did you even watch the video ? every battery test has it's own metodology, in some of them iphone is better, in other ones the Samsung is. This test is more closer to real life usage, not like other tests with a lot of video encoding and performance benchmarks, in those tests iphone wins, but almost nobody use a phone like that.

I don't get it. Why waste the money on obsession while older generations works and help prolong the equipment reduce harmful tech garbages? Saving those money invest into Stocks or Cryptos that will be enrich our pocket in coming years.

Man fragt sich, welche Vorteile die neuen Intel Prozessoren für den User bringen. Die NPU bringt aktuell nichts und soweit ich weiß sind die RTX - Chips von NVIDIA den integrierten NPUs bei echten KI -Anwendungen ohnehin weit überlegen. Und was die Akkulaufzeit betrifft - da ist mein 13900HX ja besser. In diesem Jahr gibt es wirklich keinen Grund, ein neues Notebook zu kaufen - es sei denn, das Alte hat den Geist aufgegeben.
Nicht ohne Grund scheinen Intel und auch AMD neue Namen erfunden zu haben um den fehlenden echten Fortschritt bei der Prozessorleistung zu kaschieren. Als 15700H würde der Prozessor in jedem Test durchfallen....
