Quote from: Danilio C.S on May 25, 2024, 11:04:17What a rubbish article, written by an Apple fanboy. It's not "Tandem OLED panels", the name of this TYPE of panel is DOUBLE LAYER OLED, and LG has had patents for them for over 10 years, they were already used in panels in some cars. The reason for not being used in other devices is the price: obviously it is at least 2x more expensive than a common OLED, but beyond the extra brightness there are no other advantages. Apple was the first to assume this extra cost, as its products have a higher profit margin.

LOL, Dell's own internal documents (which leaks earlier this month and proven to be quite accurate) call it tandem OLED. And go to Google scholar and type in Tandem OLED you will see multiple research articles calling it "tandem organic light-emitting diodes" from 2004, 2005.

sauf que vous auriez pousser un peu plus loin votre recherche, vous auriez appris que tandem OLED n'est qu'un simple renommage commercial comme le sont les termes Retina, XDR et autres aberration tout droit sorti d'un esprit tordu

Quote from: Mr Majestyk on Today at 06:06:13Based on those scores, Lunar lake will be easily competitive in gaming. Battelmage is far bigger uplift for graphics than RDNA3.5

Uhm... I wouldn't say "easily". According to the benchmark scores from WCCFTECH a few months ago, the improvement from Meteor Lake was around 40% (in synthetic benchmarks), which is good, but not that much more than those 36% improvement of AMD. And those 36% improvement of AMD are actual games and not synthetic benchmarks (like Intel always does). Add to that the Meteoer Lake iGPU still struggles to keep up with AMD, then it will be - once again - a tough battle to be competitive, and not "easy".

I honestly feel disencouraged to buy anything currently because of the sudden fast developments on Intel and AMD side in the last couple of months. Whereas before with the Intel Iris iGPU and AMD Vega iGPU you had like 3 years without any advancement, and now it's like every 8-10 months Intel and AMD come up with something better than before.

What we are going to get is a gx-10 that is the same body as the S9 only with the smaller sensor... In the same way that the G9 Mark II and the S5 Mark II share a body and battery.
My real life desire would be to get a GX-8 replacement. I use the weatherproof capabilities of the GX-8 and would not give that up for a GX-9 equivalent camera. Also the 8 has a microphone Jack. Take that body.. Add the new sensor, LUTs, processor,IBIS and keep the swivel EVF, and you would have an outstanding new M4/3 super-camera.

Hello fellow forum members,

I've been delving into the realm of IoT (Internet of Things) devices lately, and one aspect that keeps cropping up in my research is the role of edge servers in enhancing their performance. While I've come across some technical explanations, I'm eager to hear from those with hands-on experience or deeper insights.

So, I'm reaching out to the community to shed some light on this topic. Specifically, I'm curious about how edge servers contribute to improving the performance of IoT devices in real-world applications.

Whether you're an IoT enthusiast, a seasoned professional, or someone with a keen interest in emerging technologies, your insights would be greatly appreciated. Let's delve into this topic together and uncover the significance of edge servers in optimizing the performance of IoT devices.

The OnePlus Pad 2 was tipped to make its debut in the coming months, likely as a rebadge of the OPPO Pad 3. Both premium tablets, as well as the OnePlus Watch 3, OnePlus Buds3, and OPPO Enco X3 now seem to have been postponed, however.
