It's at these times you come to realize how strong of a value RDNA2 cards still offer, like the RX 6800. You can get 10% less performance compared to the RX 7800 XT, at almost half the price. And that GPU came out in December 2020!!!
Progress has been very slow these last few years, and RDNA4 isn't going to change much, while Nvidia cards are priced way above their perf (but they still print money, why wouldn't they sell them at a premium?). Maybe RDNA5 will be the major breakthrough everyone hopes for. In the meantime, RTX 30xx and RDNA2 series are still the best bang-for-buck in most (not all, but most) scenarios.

"Die CR2450-Zelle soll dabei eine Akkulaufzeit von bis zu drei Jahren ermöglichen"
Ich hab neulich zwar gelesen, dass Akkus im Knopfzellenformat entwickelt werden, aber auf dem Markt hab ich diese noch nicht entdeckt.

Mistake in headline. If screen is 1920 x 1200, then it is not 1080p.

ariliquin, absolutely! Same for printers. I was a happy user of an Epson printer and about to buy a new one with very good test results. I have just had a few detail questions before a purchse. The German Epson support has completely spoilt it with their utmost incompetence and ignorance both at phone and by email. Apparently, the outsourced support stuff with broken German is paid by the number of rejected endconsumers. (For comparison, German Canon and Kyocera support is competent and friendly.)

Quote from: ariliquin on Today at 05:09:25It doesn't really matter how good the laptop performs in tests if the company cannot be a trusted supplier and honour Customers warranties without trying to rip them off. Sales creates customers, service retains them, creating future sales. Disrespect your customers and you lose them, many companies can attest to this.
Correct, especially after seeing how far will they go with publicly very known and reputable customers such as Gamers Nexus. Their latest video from 13 hours ago:
ASUS Says We're "Confused".
Yet another company to completely avoid, sadly.

Quote from: punmeistervstheworld on May 17, 2024, 13:14:34I remember since 2022 that Xiaomi experiments with the usage of Micro Four Thirds sensors (or MFD for short), like those used by Fuji in their cameras.
It shouldn't very complicated, as MFDs have a 2x crop factor compared to 2.64x of a Sony LYT900.
It's M43 or MFT not MFD. And Fujifilm uses APSC which is bigger than MFT.
