Front-facing cameras that are hidden inside the body of a phone, and can deploy at need, are gaining steam in 2019. They leave the display in question with an improved body-to-screen ratio, but also require extra moving parts. Redmi's general manager has reportedly rubbished speculation that this brand may adopt 'pop-up camera' technology.
