Das laut Samsung erste Single-Chip-5G-Modem, das dem 3GPP-Standard entspricht, ist offiziell. Exynos 5100 nennt es sich und soll noch in diesem Jahr erhältlich sein. Die zusätzliche Integration herkömmlicher Netze erübrigt sich, denn das neue Modem beherrscht auch 4G, 3G und 2G GSM/CDMA.
