Dieses Jahr feiert Intel gleich zwei Jubiläen. Am 18. Juli 2018 wird Intel 50 Jahre alt, außerdem soll am 8. Juni die Jubiläumsausgabe des dann 40 Jahre alten 8086-Prozessors erscheinen. Die Core i7-8086K Limited Edition zelebriert die Einführung der x86-Architektur für Mikroprozessoren und hat einige neue Features zu bieten.
