Während dieses Jahr mit dem iPhone 8 wohl ein drittes Premium-Phone zusätzlich zu iPhone 7s und iPhone 7s Plus auf den Markt kommt, dürfte Apple im kommenden Jahr den tatsächlichen Generationswechsel vollziehen. Berichte aus der Lieferkette in Südkorea lassen Vermutungen zu, dass 2018 ein 5,85 Zoll- und ein 6,46 Zoll-iPhone am Plan stehen, beide mit vollflächigem OLED-Display.
