Das neue Mini-Gehäuse erlaubt durch einen MXM-Slot die Installation einer dedizierten Grafikkarte, der im Vergleich zum DeskMini 110 gewonnene Platz wird auch für erweiterte Montageplätze für Massenspeicher genutzt.
