15-inch convertible done right. Smaller convertibles like the Yoga 900 tend to work very well due to the lighter and more portable form factor. Scaling up to a 15-inch screen size has proven difficult, but HP is the first to hit it out of the park.

Thank you for the very nice review.

I love that it's easy to remove the back of this Spectre x360 to access the SSD, WLAN card, battery, and fan. In contrast, the extreme difficulty of servicing the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book is a big turn-off.

Personally I'd love it if HP could offer a fanless configuration with an M3 or M5.

Would also love an option to purchase with a factory-installed anti-glare screen film, like Lenovo does with ThinkPad Yogas.

Do you have plans to test a configuration with the 4k screen?

Does the 15.6" Spectre x360 support an active stylus? (Previous 13.3" models have supported a Synaptics stylus from HP or Dell.)

1. The speakers aren't Bang and Olufsen - they are standard generic parts; it's "audio by B&O" - i.e. they provided some graphic equalizer settings. Misleading, yes, and HP deserve to be called out on this.

2. The USB type-C is only 3.0, not 3.1 as stated. You can't use it for charging, displayport, or thunderbolt like you can on the Dell XPS.

No review at all at the stylus?

I wanted to know which maker it uses. Wacom/Atmel/Synaptics?
Maybe at the 4K SKU?

Can we get a review of the 4K display?  Would like to know black levels, delta-E and so on for that one too.

Or, even just a link to/name of the panel that will be used for the 4K one, so that I can check that out.
Thanks

It's a pity notebookcheck rarely answers any questions to their (great!!) reviews :(
