Research In Motion (RIM) hat die Verfügbarkeit des Updates für sein Playbook Tablet OS 2.0 auf die Version 2.1 angekündigt. Zunächst gibt es das Playbook Tablet OS 2.1 aber lediglich für das Blackberry Playbook Tablet in der WLAN-Version.
