Zunächst wurde spekuliert, dass es Microsofts neues Tablet Surface auch als Modell mit schnellem 3G/4G-Mobilfunk geben wird. Nun wird laut US-Medienberichten davon ausgegangen, dass Microsoft zum Verkaufsstart lediglich die WLAN-Version des Surface auf den Markt bringen wird.
