Nema34 Stepper Motor Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. This seems like a great community.

I'm working on a project using two NEMA 34 stepper motors(From OYOSTEPPER) to drive a dual-axis machine. Simply put, this machine is used for high-resolution artwork scanning.

When testing the stepper motors with Mach3, I found they make a "clicking" sound, seemingly missing steps or having incorrect step timing. I'm not a technical expert and currently just want them to run smoothly. I don't need very high precision or repeatability (for now) because I'm not using it for precision CNC machining.

Does anyone have any good suggestions or guidance?
