More and more developers are releasing their games as digital-only, which can be frustrating for collectors and anyone who misses physical editions. But it's not just about nostalgia – when the internet goes down, even regular players can find themselves locked out.

I never stopped buying physical games. Sometimes I buy multiple copies of the same games I want to support. Any "digital only" titles I pirate them.

But I admit it's a losing fight. And when you look around to see how many people cash in their freedom for cheap convenience there's no much hope.

Good luck to the next generation. I tried.

if that happens, we will most likely have many other, more serious worries, than where to get our digital only games..
