Samsung's strange foldable smartphone design receives approval in the US

Samsung Display has patented the next step on in the pursuit of an ever more versatile foldable smartphone. While the device looks a fair bit like a regular book-style foldable when opened, it can be folded either way to create multiple postures that are not possible with one foldable smartphone currently.
