Qualcomm's next-generation flagship processor may not only be of interest for high-end laptops but also for desktop computers, as the Snapdragon X2 Elite will not only support dedicated graphics chips but will also be equipped with 18 processor cores.

So erm, have they fixed their drivers yet for adreno? Pretty much everyone in the industry has unanimously said that for the past 15+ years answer has be no and likely will continue to be that way in the foreseeable future.

That's good they're finally allowing external discrete gpu in laptops but what's the point? Gaining all that performance per watt efficiency going arm64 cpu cores only to lose it all by having to go dgpu for any real graphics performance.

It likely won't be anymore efficient overall than strix halo then. And knowing Qcomm likely just as expensive if not more with pricing.
