Motorola has already begun the Android 15 rollout to eligible devices, however some users have reported issues with their phones after updating. The issue primarily affects the default Moto launcher but seems to not affect some who use a custom launcher.

Not a big issue but still I want to report an error with the source link for Reddit, it goes https://https//www. so it cannot be opened without deleting the doubled (or both) part.

That being said, I always find it curious how OEMs push "stable" updates just to cause various annoying errors or even worse (Google with Pixel 4 two weeks ago), like they do not do any testing at all to verify that it's all fine.

I'm using a Moto Razr 2023+ with Android 15 to write this comment. Both screens are working fine - no issues. <Crosses fingers.>

Same phone and year model, except it's a regular razr and not the razr+. Same outcome for me as well as of having updated about a week and a half ago.

Though as you put it, fingers crossed that it stays that way, lol.

Probably because of different versions of the same phone or different vendor hardware due to multi-sourcing. This is why many such issues are experienced by some users but not by others. You push a patch, it works on one device fine, but likely nobody tests every device with every different hardware configuration.

To protect my phone from the Android 15 update messing up my Moto Launcher, I have turned off auto updating on my Motorola G Stylus 5G (2024). I suggest the all Motorola phone users do the same until we get word that the Moto Launcher problem is fixed in Android 15.

I have a Moto G Power 2024. Got the 15 update almost 2 months ago. No problem 😃 I honestly never thought I'd be saying that 🤣

My razr 2023 started smoking white stinky stuff and caught on fire and blew apart!
I never got nothing not an email about it couldn't be that update, I went thru 4 razr and now boost insurance won't replace my razr, I have no phone. I emailed Motorola they never read or responded!

Motorola Edge 50 Neo, updated yesterday, no problems except some apps turned back on their default notification sounds.

What a pity I've just read this after the update this morning!!  Solved a couple of problems myself by trial and error as default settings had been changed.  Motorola clearly know something is wrong if they are delaying the roll out.  Why not consider some form of exgratia payment to users who have already installed the update unaware of the issues.  I have a  Edge 50 nei
