What steps have you taken so far to identify the source of the 300 gigabytes of space being occupied on your device, and what troubleshooting methods or software have you utilized in your attempt to locate this unidentified data?

Something is VERY WRONG. Tried resetting PC and reinstalling windows? 1st thing I would do.

I used WinDirStat to see which folders were hogging space, emptied the Recycle Bin, and searched for hidden files like hiberfil.sys and system restore points. I also took a look at old backups, VM images, and temporary files. So far, it seems like most of the 300 GB is tied up in AppData and Windows backup snapshots — I'm still digging deeper with TreeSize.
