Anbernic has not officially announced the RG Cube yet. Nonetheless, the upcoming 1:1 retro gaming handheld has been shown in detail for the first time, confirming its similarities with the Powkiddy RGB30 and ZPG A1 Unicorn in the process.

IMHO: Sorry but the BOTTOM LINE on ANY of the seemingly endless stream of 'Retro Handhelds' is what are they powerful enough to actually emulate?

It would seem that MOST fall into some fairly clearly defined classes if we are to use the ability (or NOT!) to emulate Sony consoles as a measuring stick:

#1 games pre Sony PS1
#2 can emulate some (less complicated) PS1 games
#3 can emulate all PS1 games (may have minor restrictions)
#4 can emulate some (less complicated) PS2 games
#5 can emulate all PS2 games (may have minor restrictions)
#6 can emulate some (less complicated) PS3 games
#7 can emulate all PS3 games (may have minor restrictions)

Generally the devices powered by a 4-core APU are less powerful/useful then those with a 8-core (or more) APU. Some of the 8-core APU devices can run Android and/or are powerful enough to be used as a inexpensive+lightweight Streaming Client which might be much more useful & entertaining then simply emulating antique games.
