Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 10, officially the Surface Pro 10 for Business. Available to order by businesses and consumers, the Surface Pro 10 features an upgraded webcam and display compared to the Surface Pro 9, as well as much faster Intel Meteor Lake processors.

You would take this over an iPad Pro any day of the week. Real OS for a start, file browser, usb ports, mouse support, more memory, touch pad, far cheaper than upcoming iPad Pro 12.9" OLED too. Interesting to see how Qualocmm SoC compares to Intel Mediocre Lake in real world testing.

There are, or might be, in particular these disadvantages of a Surface Pro 10 in comparison to an iPad Pro though:
- fan (this is unclear yet; information has been missing so far)
- €444,64 battery replacement (judging from this price in Germany for Surface Pro 9; this is about €424,64 rip-off) instead of €219 (for iPad Pro 12.9" 6th gen; this is about €199 rip-off)

As much as I want a Windows tablet, such rip-offs (also of the iPads) are simply unacceptable.

If you want tablet only experience, iPad is still much better with its touch-oriented UI.
Microsoft thus far have seriously lagged behind in all of their touch adapted interfaces.
The only touch UI that worked great was on Windows Phone and even then Microsoft didnt bother to bring that same feeling and functionality to their Windows tablet devices.
If you want best all in one, then, yes, Surface Pro is much better bang for your buck.

Eager to see both, updated iPad Pro and Surface devices with Qualcomm CPU's!

They must hire very smart people to sell a 13 inch device but call it a surface 10...

Not confusing at all...
