A BMW iX test vehicle with an Our Next Energy dual-chemistry battery has achieved 608 miles (979 km) of range on the WLTP test cycle. The dual-chemistry approach reached the 600-mile mark at least three years before Toyota predicts it will have solid-state battery technology ready.
