Spring is also the season for high-end cell phones: The latest generation of Samsung's Galaxy S series hit the market, plus other flagships around the Xiaomi 13 Pro or the Honor Magic5 Pro. You can find the best new phones and our personal favorites here.

Do all S23 smartphones suffer from the "banana" camera problem?
If so, it can't be considered the best phone.

All modern "best" smartphones have a nasty AMOLED screen with low-frequency PWM (or there low contrast is orders of magnitude worse than marketers say in the case of tricky "dc-dimming" schemes), the real resolution in color is sharply worse with the same declared as on IPS and much poorer color accuracy. Plus, 2 times the worst resource for burnout, but really not the best brightness on light topics. Plus, at the corners, the same Samsung tops have a greenish tint. What is not, for example, on the A series or on IPS.

Today there is no better smartphone, because. the best smartphone for the eyes is only a smartphone with IPS 1500:1+ and a set of key camera characteristics - 4k@60fps / f/1.7, with a bit rate of 100Mbps+.

Now find me at least one smartphone with IPS with 4k@60fps and such a bitrate in the mass segment - there are none. And AMOLED is bad for the eyes and has no advantage in daylight or office lighting.
