Activision Blizzard nutzt intern ein "Diversity Space Tool", durch welches Spiele-Charaktere in zehn Kriterien auf einer Skala von 1 bis 10 bewertet werden. Ist ein Charakter jung, weiß, männlich, gutaussehend und heterosexuell, so gibt es kaum Punkte bei diesem kontroversen System.
