RWE has collaborated with Inmarsat to bring IoT connectivity to its hydroelectric power stations in rural Snowdonia, Wales. Inmarsat claims that its network provides 99.9 percent coverage, which aids RWE in reliability and safety. IoT data also tracks weather conditions and increases efficiency in electricity production.
