Purchasing dilemma

I have a PT-16/T14 mod voucher that I'd like to sell for roughly $50 per gaijin currency. Then, perhaps, I'll have enough gaijin coin to purchase two 180-day premiums for a total of 360 days. My question is whether or not what I want to accomplish will work, or if there is something I'm overlooking.
