For a 17-inch laptop, the Erazer Beast X25 is not only pleasingly compact, but it also weighs surprisingly little. Nonetheless, it packs extremely powerful gaming hardware under the hood that guarantees a high degree of future-proofing; it's also accompanied by plenty of RAM and storage.

wtf? 17 inch and 1920 x 1080 only ?!

There's a QHD 165Hz 5ms sRGB 350 nit screen option. This laptop also goes by the name of Eluktronics MAX-17 in the USA.

Notebookcheck, can you please test the laptop thermals with Furmark set to 0x MSAA in the future reviews? MSAA settings other than Zero in Furmark will produce lower heat and I feel like you are aware of this but still doing this to show low core temps.

The Medion Beast x25 is pure DISASTER !. All bench here are useless. For comparison with XMG, it looks like it is from the 20th century. Yes, the weight ... but who wants to talk with only a few hundred grams at 3 to 4 times the potential? The motherboard is pure disaster! No RAID support for NVME, and no SSD hard drives, so ONLY 2 NVME! The sound like from the phone, and with the slightest overclocking via software loses connection to the Internet network, only Wi-Fi remains. So up to the reputable manufacturers are years behind. I am very disappointed with my purchase ... Never again at Aldi! And never again from Medion!

What do you want with 4k on such a small screen? Unpack the magnifying glass?

The resolution is for gaming perfect and also increases the performance. If you need more, you should use a large external monitor or better a desktop.
