Nvidia could soon be announced as the new owner of Arm Holdings, the British semi-conductor company that controls the chip architecture in the world's smartphones and tablets. The deal is said to be worth around US$40 billion and will make for a neat fit with Nvidia's plans for growth over the coming years.
