Canon is hit by massive ransomware attack: 10TB of user data at risk, with doubts as to whether or not images were compromised

A large number of Canon domains were recently targeted by the Maze ransomware attack, resulting in the theft of over 10TB of sensitive user data. While Canon claims that photo images weren't compromised, other sensitive user information is currently at risk.
