Das weltweite Absatzvolumen für Smartwatches stieg im zweiten Quartal 2019 von April bis Juni um 44 Prozent auf 12 Millionen smarte Armbanduhren. Die Apple Watch ist mit 46 Prozent  Marktanteil weltweit die Nummer 1 bei den Smartwatches. Fitbit verliert weiter Marktanteile.
