According to a new report from The Information, Apple has been considering the acquisition of Intel's 5G modem business for almost 2 months now, but Intel has not yet provided a clear valuation for its wireless asset portfolio. This would be Apple's most expensive acquisition, which will enable it to manufacture its own mobile modems in 3-4 years.
