Huawei had faced the prospect of becoming unable to use the Android ecosystem due to a dispute with the current US government. However, most of its newer devices have subsequently retained the license necessary to do so. Unfortunately, Google has told the BBC that the upcoming Mate 30 series will not be granted access to the same.
