Lenovo has equipped its V130-14IGM with an Intel Pentium Silver N5000 quad-core processor, which is on par with a Broadwell Core i3. Add to that a fast SSD and good battery life, and the sub-€250 14-inch laptop looks like an enticing package. The device has its drawbacks though, particularly as it has an unconvincing display and it does not come with an OS installed.

And not only is the display miserable, it has a fan although the CPU is basically made to be running in a fanless design.

The results highlight the ineffectiveness of the V130-14IGM's cooling system as it cannot keep the CPU cool enough for it to outperform comparable passively cooled devices.

Full BS. Reason of this is 6W TDP, not thermal
