Zusammen mit den Pixel Buds hat Google im Vorjahr auch eine schnellere und bequemere Bluetooth Pairing-Methode etabliert, die bis dato aber recht wenig von Herstellern unterstützt wurde. Ein SDK für Hersteller, die Synchronisation mit dem Google Account und Chromebook-Support in 2019 sollen das nun ändern.
