Although this is only about connecting a custom R15 to a 5G network in the company's research lab for now, OPPO is planning to become the first Chinese company to bring a 5G smartphone to the market in 2019. Unfortunately, they will have to beat Huawei, LG, ZTE, and all the others who are also chasing the same goal.
