Zum Start der Photokina 2018 kündigten die Leica Camera AG, Panasonic und Sigma eine strategische Partnerschaft an. Die drei Unternehmen treten künftig als "L-Mount Alliance" auf. Leica ermöglicht Panasonic und Sigma künftig das Leica L-Bajonett für ihre Kameras und Objektive zu nutzen.
