Global tablet shipments are expected to drop to a little more than 31 million units in the second quarter of this year, reveals DigiTimes. This all-time low comes one year after the market bottomed at 33 million units (in the first quarter of 2017). However, the market is expected to bounce back a bit later this year thanks to the introduction of the new Apple iPad Pro and the Amazon Prime Day.
