Face ID soll 2018 zum Standard auf Apple-Geräten werden und so wundert es nicht, wenn bereits jede Menge Bilder zu einem iPad mit Displayeinbuchtung für die Face ID-Kamera im Netz kursieren. In iOS 11.3 Beta wurde nun ein Hinweis auf ein "modernes" iPad entdeckt, ein Apple-Codewort für die Post-iPhone 8-Ära.
