Im Schatten der IFA kündigen AMD und Lenovo an, dass es in Zukunft eine eigene ThinkPad-Serie mit AMD-CPUs geben wird. Allerdings kommen die beiden neuen ThinkPads, die auf Lenovos T- und X-Serie aufbauen, vorerst nicht mit Raven Ridge CPUs auf den Markt.
