Qualcomm is busy working on the successor to this year's Snapdragon 652 and information of next year's  Octa-Core Snapdragon 653 could have been leaked on Weibo a few days ago. It is supposed to be built using the 28 nm process and will integrate four Cortex-A73 cores.
