Enduring. Dell's little Chromebook attracts attention with its long battery life and decent input devices. The robust casing makes up for the one or other shortcoming.

I've owned a number of high end laptops.  They have all been powerful but at a cost; too heavy, too wide, too slow to boot, etc.  I just need something simple: fast, get my email, get to the internet, an occasional video.  This Dell Chromebook was straight and simple.  I found it refurbished for $89. I love the bulletproof no-slip plastic case.  The touch pad works great.

I have owned a couple of HP laptops in Windows.   Now that I have both my HP and Dell 11 Chromebook within arms reach I grab the Dell at least 90% of the time for browsing.  The chrome operating system is something you have to learn.  The keyboard is weird without a standard caps lock or Del key.  The touchpad is hard to use the menu key.  The biggest selling point is weight and battery life.  My biggest grip is an eleven-inch screen is kind of small for older eyes.  I wish I could add Android apps too.
