"G" as in good. Motorola gives the third generation of its Moto G a refined face lift, and delivers a superb money-performance bundle: A decent camera, long battery life, and up-to-date operating system. What's more, the device is now waterproof.

Umm, the Moto G actually does support OTG, its just that it wont prompt you when you connect a flash drive. Install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.versatile1.usbdrive.ads&hl=en
The app is basically a file manager, go to root>storage and you should find your flash drive.

Both my Moto G 1st Gen and 2nd Gen support OTG, so I was surprised to read you say this one does not.

I just plug in my OTG drive and can browse photos, music, etc., no special apps needed.

Are you sure the 3rd Gen does not support OTG?
