Netbook revisited The Lenovo Ideapad Flex 10 is a small, light, low-cost mini-notebook using the latest Baytrail-M entry-level PC platform. A touchscreen is included, USB3.0 too. Can the Flex 10 convince us that this new take on the netbook is going to be successful?

Why would you get this instead of an Asus T100??

That's the question you didn't answer.

I got mine in the USA for $239.99 with a $130 promo code discount at Fry's in California last Thursday 25.09.2014.  I have an 128 GB Crucial MX 100 SSD for upgrade, but I do not want to void the one year warranty just yet or remove the 500 GB Seagate Momentus that I have inside.  :)

Не работает качелька громкости "-", это фича или баг?

well...I can give you a number of reasons:
- better CPU
- more storage
- better keyboard
- you can have different screen angles, not just 1 fixed position like on Asus

As someone else has said, this is an excellent, detailed review.

What stands out is the time taken to perform testing of a variety of metrics as opposed to simply passing on opinions of the machine. Comparisons with other laptops good too.

Thanks for the review!

I have recently bought Lenovo Ideapad Flex 10 Laptop (59-404493)) it is a blend of smart configuration, amazing speed and powerful performance. I have been mesmerized at its unique flexible design and touchscreen  display. Touch is highly responsive which has 10 finger multitouch display along with lots of connectivity features, I recommend users you must go for this laptop. Thank you for an excellent review. However, I have had this laptop for just over a year and the battery life is terrible. I cannot get through two hours of basic word processing without the battery being drained.

I use lenovo since the end of 2014 and it was really very slow. Now I upgraded it with a SSD (Kingstone SSDNow UV400 SSD 2.5" 240GB SUV400S37/240G SATA3) and now works like a laptop. I recommed strongly to upgrade with SSD.

Max231!

I recommend switch HDD drive for SSD drive in this netbook

As other Users have said, using an SSD on the Flex 10 is a worthwhile upgrade. Works fine even in 2020.
