Gaming-to-go - Part Two. Lots of power packed into an attractive case - that is one way to describe this Zenbook. An IPS panel and SSD complete the package. Even with its high-performance components, its battery life is good as well. Does the Zenbook have weaknesses too? Keep reading to find out.

Can someone please explain why this laptop has an identical or worse gaming performance than the lover spec'd i5 version that Notebookcheck tested?

Makes not a lot sense to me. Or was it very hot on that day or something?

It can easily be explained by looking at their identical GPU, GeForce 840M. Better CPU does not help in games at lower resolutions. However, some games do require more CPU power than others and especially in higher resolutions, 1080 or above. The 840M chip is what bottlenecks in the first place, not the i5 seen in the other model.
