[Redaktion]

The Asus Googlebook 14 uses the chassis from the high-end ExpertBook Ultra in combination with a matte OLED touchscreen. The result is a sub 1 kg everyday laptop with plenty of ports, but it is also very expensive with a base price of $1299 considering the limitations of Googlebook OS.

even though it might actually feel a bit too light and therefore not premium for some users.

what utter BS. now youre critizing lower weight ?? unbelievable.

and stop putting soldered ram under cons, there are practically since years no other alternatives!

that machine seems perfect for mobility, low weight, matte screen, silent, lots of I/O, finally also usb-c charging on both sides and as a bonus - great speakers.

unlocking the bootloader and putting on linux will be mandatory to get rid of this google crap.

Why on Earth would anyone buy this expensive, locked-down, glorified Android tablet with an attached keyboard?

There is literally no reason to buy this over a sub-$2k notebook that will allow you to do a lot more.
