Unlike the latest Razer Blade 16 or Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 16, the 2026 MSI Stealth 16 features removable RAM up to 128 GB to be a multitasking monster for gaming, video editing, AI, and more.

a bit about AI

AI
The up to 128 GB RAM make it "AI" and the 12 GB VRAM 5070 Ti Mobile is also very important to increase the prompt processing (=speed of processing of input) and token generation (=speed of output generation) speeds, but other than that, it has no special AI hardware, because such specialized AI hardware doesn't exist (and even enterprise AI hardware is the same, just without the 3D acceleration part, no monitor output connections, and just with a higher memory bandwidth, at least for now). And because of no special hardware, some notebooks have the same GPU and also support up to 128 GB RAM, but don't have an "AI" in their product names.

32 GB RAM + 12 GB VRAM for 3100 + taxes on top..let's just say that you can get 128 GB RAM for 2000, or a bit more, bucks in a desktop PC (and if you already have a desktop PC with a similar/same GPU, chances are, you don't need to pay for anything else). So, consider that if you don't absolutely need to carry this laptop (and it's 3100 + taxes + expanding the RAM to 128 GB RAM costs on top). Otherwise consider that you could run the AI part on your desktop PC and remote desktop into it.

a bit about AI

With 128 GB RAM (or even 96 GB RAM) + 12 GB VRAM you can run a very good quant of huggingface.co/unsloth/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-GGUF/tree/main/UD-Q4_K_XL. About 30% of the 111 GB can be streamed from the SSD and don't need to be loaded into the VRAM+RAM, more here: notebookchat.com/index.php?topic=324510.0.

Noise
Pleasant that it's not 60+ dB(A) anymore.
