Casio's new ultra-limited MRG-D5000 fuses titanium and solid sapphire, but costs more than 10 Grand Seikos

Casio has officially launched the MRG-D5000, its first sapphire MR-G, at 11 million yen including tax, which is about $69,520 — that's equivalent to 10.3 Grand Seiko Snowflakes. Only 20 will be made worldwide, sold by lottery in Japan from December, and the bezel is cut entirely from blue sapphire.

Obvious that Casio skimped on getting a good designer; or determined it might just be "hip"to make it look like their $29.95 models!
