Hi everyone,

I have an old Dell Inspiron 1520 with 2GB RAM and plan to upgrade to 4GB for university.

Specs:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo T7100
  • 160GB HDD
  • NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS

Will Linux Mint 64-bit work well on this laptop, or should I use a lightweight distro?

Any advice is appreciated.
