Embattled Volkswagen is marshalling all of its engineering ingenuity to prove it can make groundbreaking cars for the masses. It just presented the world's most efficient electric car that can cover more than 450 miles with a cheap 55 kWh battery.

Ev Efficiency should be way further up the list of priorities while energy densities are so limited and costly. Pretty funny that it is so similar to GM's EV1 30 years ago and it would be fitting for this to become a huge hit for VW when GM scrapped it and their own chances to be a leader in the space.
