US PlayStation owners may be eligible for part of $7.85 million payout

Sony has preliminarily agreed to a $7.85 million settlement over claims that it monopolized digital PlayStation game sales by barring third-party download codes. Around 4.4 million eligible US users could receive PSN credit or cash if the court grants final approval on October 15.
